Where to Ski?
Saas Fee boasts some 100 km of piste on the slopes of the Swiss Alps. As you might expect the skiing here is high altitude and the snow quality is just fantastic. What to Do (besides skiing)?
Saas Fee is not all skiing and snow! Start with the Ice Climbing World Cup event that gathers in one place the world’s top ice climbers to challenge some 30meter-high ice walls. You can also visit the Allalin ice pavilion, home of the Ice Grotto, the world largest ice cave. If you have enough ice and snow for the day, you can head to one of the leisure and sports complexes.
In the evening you will be amazed by the vibrant nightlife of this small Alpine town. You have a great choice of clubs – both in the outside and inside. You can sit outside in one of the bars stretching along Main street between the Church square and the ski slopes. Then if it is too cold, you can move inside. You can enjoy a quiet talk in the hotel Dom’s chill-out lounge bar or listen to some live music in the very popular among young people Popcorn.
