On Friday, 27.07.2012 for the first time in Abakan (Republic of Khakassia, Russia) there was opened an exhibition-fair “World of India.” For the first time in Khakassia 40 entrepreneurs have come from this country. The event is held under the project of the Abakan-Chernogorsk (Montenegrin) agglomeration and under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Khakassia.
Within 10 days of the exhibition there will be featured the unique items – ornaments and jewelry of rubies, sapphires, onyx, agate, pearls, a real Indian tea, and natural cosmetics, silk dresses, linen wraps and even the furniture of rosewood. The guests from India presented a wide range of products handmade from natural materials in the national Indian traditions: souvenirs, jewelry, articles of precious and semi-precious stones and metals, leather goods, clothing, scarves, shawls, scarves, designer bags. Visitors will be able to buy Indian tea, spices, incense, scented oils, natural perfumes, natural cosmetics. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Khakassia within 10 days residents and visitors of the region can not only enjoy, but also buy unique goods.
As the press service of the Regional Government the exhibition “World of India” was opened by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Khakassia Tatyana Krasnova. On behalf of the Government of Khakassia Tatyana Krasnova congratulated on the opening of the exhibition, and wished the entrepreneurs to find in Khakassia their business partners and customers to make pleasant and profitable purchases. In the capital of Khakassia Abakan in the Drama theatre a unique exhibition-fair “World of India” was opened. This exhibition is unique because for first time in the republic came 40 entrepreneurs from India. Exhibition is interesting not only to wholesalers, lovers of Indian fashion and culture, but also sophisticated consumer. The uniqueness of the presented products lies in the fact that such goods are not in the local shops.
Throughout the exhibition and sale to the visitors will be demonstrated traditional dances, divination, body painting service. Exhibition ‘WORLD OF INDIA” is running from 10:00 to 19:00 in the Khakass Drama Theatre (Shchinkin Street), admission is free. Closing of the exhibition will be held on August 5.
