At the Olympics the next set of awards in sailing is raffled off. August 8th the men’s final in the class 49er took place. The victory is won by the representatives of Australia Nathan Otteridzh and Ian Jensen. Silver medal of the Games 2012 was won by the New Zealanders Peter Beurling and Blair Tuke, and the bronze medalists were the Danes Allan Norregor and Peter Lang. For the Australian team in the sailing the medal of Otteridzh and Jensen was the second award of the highest dignity, won at the Games in 2012. Earlier the gold medal was won by Australian Tom Slingsby, who showed the first result in the class “laser”.
