San Diego: A Fun and Diverse City

Climate of San Diego

With mild Mediterranean climate, San Diego can be visited any time of the year. The city receives 10 inches of rainfall every year with 266 sunny days. The temperature in January is 48 F with July high is 75 F.  Late summer and early autumn in San Diego are the hottest months in the year with the temperatures rising to 90F and up.  The best time to visit San Diego is between the months of November to March.

San Diego is abundant in providing you with exciting things to do and see whether you are on a family trip or just exploring it all by yourself. 

Family holidays: If you have the kids along, you will be spoiled for choices with so many things to do and see.  Buy tickets to San Diego Zoo Safari Park, San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park, San Diego Railroad Museum, and Birch Aquarium to entertain your kids to the core.

Experience the Nightlife:  Even though the night life of San Diego is not comparable to the nightlife of vegas or New York city, it still provides you with plenty of options that will leave your funky and lively soul satiated. Do club crawling or perhaps visit the Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown, a home to plenty of restaurants, offering varied cuisines with many clubs and bars. It is a great place to hang around for young adults and couples!

History Lovers:  The town has no dearth of museums and historical sites for history buffs. Some of the must-see historical sites include Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, Julian Pioneer Museum, Old Town State Historical Park, San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, San Diego Natural History Museum, Whaley House and much more.   There are also guided tours available to historical sites.

The Sun, Sand, and Sea Lovers:  San Diego is known for pristine beaches that offer best waves for surfing. Whether you are with your family, your beloved or just by yourself, you can spend the entire day lazing around on the beaches of San Diego. Visit the “Jewel of San Diego”, La Jolla Beach, which offers gorgeous beaches with upscale dining options and shopping arenas. Visit the Pacific Beach that offers endless fun on the gorgeous sands, housing lively night clubs and modern hotels. If you want to surf, sun bath, or swim, Ocean Beach, situated between the hills of Point Loma and San Diego River is the one to visit!
